Our friendly and cosy café with a delightful walled garden is situated in the heart of Ditchling village, at the foot of the South Downs National Park. All visitors, walkers, and cyclists always receive a very warm welcome. We are also very dog friendly!

Situated just a stone’s throw from Ditchling Beacon and located in the South Downs National Park we are ideally located for walks and rides on the South Downs Way, or through our lovely Sussex countryside. You can also enjoy a gentle stroll around our pretty historic village incorporating a visit to the Ditchling Museum of Art and Craft.

We serve breakfasts, lunch and afternoon tea. Everything in the café is home baked and can be served with a selection of individually roasted coffees, one of our many varieties of tea, or cold drinks. We are a licensed premises serving wine, beers, cider and prosecco.

Following the initial Covid-19 lockdown, our menu has been slightly adapted, but our popular breakfast ciabattas are still available! For lunch we have a delicious selection of artisan sandwiches and rolls, together with freshly baked individual quiches and sausage rolls. Of course, our home-baked pastries and cakes are always available for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea!

We cater for groups on request and take reservations
